And now, ladies and gents, the super spoil soaked Epic post I warned you about.AND ITS HUGE (tbh there arent THAT many spoilers but they are there nonetheless)

Good god. Where do I begin?

I cried. That’s a start. Good lord, did I cry.. Not just a manly single tear either, I wept, shoulders shaking, hiccups… 3 times, and at the credits because of stress relief. what.

Obviously I was way too attached to this film.

Well.

Let’s start with the obvious.

Animation.

GOOD GOD. Phenomenal. The character gestures and expression most of all. Jeez… Just astounding.

I particularly enjoyed…. No, I just enjoyed everybody.

Ronin was AMAZINGLY animated. He made several faces and a few gestures that were spot on and just got me excited over it. Fighting scenes were flawless.

MK was very naturally animated. More often than not, when an ordinary character gets thrust into an unordinary adventure, they suddenly become an action hero. This did not happen with MK. BUT. That doesn’t mean she was useless! She was just normal. The animation really portrayed that well. She made a few adorable faces and uncomfortable movements that really got that across.

Nod was pretty good. I can’t think of anything in particular that stood out animation wise, but then again, I was trying to memorize everything and I just couldn’t ahaha… Though while I’m on the subject of Nod, the CUTEST and most amusing thing that made me laugh my head off is when he gets all excited, points and says “Did you guys hear that!? He said it!”. It was totally something a dude like him would get a kick out of.

Tara was unbelievable. She was so badass and her animation was astounding. She also felt very natural. She moved very gracefully, but she really almost felt like I was watching a person. Which is amazing.

Mandrake was fascinating to watch. Something about him just… *shrug* I don’t know. Something about his facial animation was exceptional. Maybe it’s the aspect of how villains usually have less expressions because there’s “triumphant” and “evil” and that’s usually it. He had a broad range of expression and let me tell you, it was just great.

Ozzie, while he kind of freaked me out (not really one for pugs, sorry!), he was also cute and well animated as well.

Bomba, ohoho, Bomba, dear. Obviously he was the exaggerated, comedic relief type of animation. But good lord, there were several moments throughout the film that I just pointed at the screen in excitement because, by god, they got it. They got that expression or movement SPOT ON. Just… Ah. I already am biased because I love bumbling dorky characters, but he was just so well animated… Ugh. Well done.

On to other random, unrelated points I enjoyed:

-They surprised me. Several times. For some reason, I got this image in my head of how the movie would play out… And there were a few times i just went “WHAT”
and that’s a good thing.
Specifically the fact they went to the house to get Boggan armor. For some reason I thought they would show up at the house for… some other reason. See, I never figured out why else, I just thought it would be something else. Also when Prof. B. was shutting off the cameras. I was not expecting that. I was freaking out until they showed the red push pin (which I forgot about SHUT UP).
I was also surprised on what they used Bomba for. For some reason I thought they were going to use his flashlight to bloom the pod? In hindsight, that really doesn’t make a lot of sense at all… But they got me!

-my sister whacked me because of prof. b’s vaccum invention because for some reason she thinks i aM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THE ACTIONS OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS

-Ronin is a hot piece of ass i am just saying

- I enjoyed Bomba. Look, I’m sorry, I know he was annoying to a lot of people, it’s understandable why. I mean, he was supposed to be. At least the part where he kept interrupting and being a bad father. But he redeemed himself. In my eyes at least, I don’t know… Maybe I just relate to him on a personal level. But the part where he was showing remorse, like with the photograph or when he was talking to MK at the very end, or anger at himself when he was just so upset and angry about how he was so selfish. He was packing everything up. He was ready to be /normal/, just like MK had asked him at the beginning. He just… He grew on me as a character. I really love him, man. I really do.

-“Ow, I hurt my elbow” is now my favorite thing

-Nod… Well, besides his adorable face and amusing banter, he actually aggravated me. Annoyed me even. I still love him as a character, he just… Didn’t click well with me. Idk if people would just lisTEN TO RONIN BAD THINGS WOULDN’T HAPPEN

-the ending was adorable and perfect and i honestly dont know how else people wanted it to end

There are so many more things I want to touch on, but it’s already getting to be 1 AM and I should chill

It’s in one of the first teaser trailers. I haven’t had the chance to see movie, so I’m not able to tell you if it got cut ^^;;

More often than not, animation studios create different scenes early on to publish as the teaser trailer. This is one of them, actually!
